Fall Break is here and we can finally take a breather. If you are going home for fall break, here are a few tips the C&IS Ambassadors think everyone should know.
The C&IS Ambassadors wish you have a safe travel and a happy Halloween!
- Take home your summer clothes and bring back your winter clothes. Trust us on this one. Your closet will thank you.
- Start packing earlier than two hours before you leave. Tip #1 is going to take longer than you think.
- Try to schedule doctors appointments that you can only do at home. The dentist and dermatologist are the most common.
- Make sure you follow the correct check-out procedure wherever you live. Freshman, make sure to ask your RA what this procedure is.
- Carpool. Not only does someone save on gas money but it usually turns out to be a really fun road trip!
- Take home a friend who can’t go home. Share your momma’s cooking with someone who might be missing theirs. Whoever it is will love you forever.
- Eat all the Halloween candy and blame it on the dog. Execute at your own risk.
- Do fun fall things. Carve a pumpkin, eat pumpkin muffins, make cookies, rake leaves, jump in leaves, throw the football, watch football, watch Hocus Pocus, go to a bonfire--- ANYTHING. It’ll feel great and make your fall break worth it.
The C&IS Ambassadors wish you have a safe travel and a happy Halloween!
